I just wanted to remind everybody that our community forum is the best place to ask questions about English.

We are happy to answer your questions but it is more efficient for us, and much more beneficial for all Linguist members, if questions are posted on the forum. This does not mean that you cannot send us an email if you have a particular question or concern about the system.

In order to post a question about a phrase on the forum, please follow the instructions below:

1. Highlight a phrase in the content item you are studying and click 'save word/phrase.'

2. Click ASK YOUR TUTOR. The forum will automatically open.

3. Click on 'Login' and enter in your username and password.

4. If it is your first time visiting the forum, click on Your Control Panel and scroll down the page. You will see 'Watch Preference's' along with the following three sentences:

Always watch topics I create:

Always watch topics I reply to:

Notify me by email of watch updates:

5. Make sure you click YES next to all three sentences and then click on 'Save Changes.'

6. Click on 'Go Back' at the top of the page. Next, click on 'Post New Question.'

7. Type your question into the message box and click on 'Post Message.'

This weekend I am going to an outdoor wedding. It is going to be held at a farm in central British Columbia. It is an eight or nine hour drive north of Vancouver. The farm is located in a tiny community with under 100 people. However, there are going to be over 100 people attending the wedding and camping out at the farm. There's going to be a dance floor outside and live music. The party will likely last until the sun comes up the next morning! I'll let you all know how it goes when I return next week.
